Greenland Energy Company is a privately owned Texas corporation focused on oil and gas exploration in Greenland’s Jameson Land Basin. Its work builds on geological exploration and evaluation undertaken by ARCO between 1970 and 1990, which identified multiple hydrocarbon targets.

A staged exploration programme

Through an agreement with 80 Mile, the company plans to fund two exploration wells designed to assess the basin’s sedimentary structure and energy potential, earning up to a 70% interest in return. The project remains early-stage exploration, with no current commercial production or revenue.
